We’re looking for a Duty Manager support the centre management team in the day-to-day running of the centre, manage the daily performance and standards set by the team, ensuring adherence to company policies, and deliver financial targets and service standards as set by the business. In addition to being a Duty Manager, this position is part of our 12-month Assistant Manager in Training (AMIT) program, where you will be taken on a learning journey covering everything from our ways of working, to stepping up into management.

To be eligible for this role, candidates must be of legal age to serve and handle alcohol in accordance with local licensing and employment laws.

  • Lead, coach, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

  • Coach team members to achieve daily sales and performance goals.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue and enhance guest spend.
  • Assist with cash handling, banking, and stock control processes.
  • Drive operational excellence across all areas of the centre.
  • Manage day-to-day centre operations when acting as Manager on Duty.
  • Complete and monitor key operational, health & safety, maintenance, and hygiene checks.
  • Attend and contribute to management and team meetings.
  • Inspire the team to consistently exceed guest expectations.
  • Lead by example on the floor during key trading periods.
  • Resolve customer concerns and deliver effective guest recovery solutions.
  • Foster a fun, engaging, and memorable environment for both guests and team members.

The Who…

The be a successful Duty Manager, you’ll have:

  • Proven experience in a retail, leisure, or restaurant setting
  • High School or Equivalent
  • Valid Smart Serve (ON) Certification
  • Valid Food Handlers Certificate
  • Friendly, energetic, enthusiastic, positive attitude
  • Ability to multitask; stays calm under pressure
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Ability to make decisions quickly and confidently bases on company policies and practices
  • Experience with organizing and assigning shift tasks and holding team members accountable for completion
  • Flexible schedule (available days, nights, weekends, holidays)
